We woke up that morning before the sun (sunrise in Iceland is 10am in November) and the boys cooked breakfast. We had coffee and ate together and chatted about the day ahead. Molly and Eric had chosen to elope to Iceland rather than have a traditional wedding back home and they brought along their 3 best friends and me to document it.
After breakfast, Molly and Eric got ready in separate rooms and then we walked down the driveway and began the ceremony. They read their vows and we all teared up. The clouds were dark and stormy and it was beautiful.
After the ceremony, we all hugged and then hopped in the car to take some photos just down the road a bit. It was freezing and we all raced from place to place, warming up in the car between locations. When we got home, we toasted with champagne and Molly and Eric had their first dance in the kitchen. It. Was. Perfect.
